How to Import a VPN Subscription
Start with account setup, then choose a plan, get your subscription, import it into a client, and verify the connection. If you already have an account or subscription, jump to the relevant step.
Set Up Your Account and Sign In
Your Z3VPN account, orders, client downloads, and subscription details are all managed in the user dashboard. Click “Start Free” below to open the account page, then follow the prompts to choose a username and password. No email address is required. Choose a username you can recognize, use a unique password you don't reuse on other sites, and store it in a trusted password manager.
After setting up your account, make sure you reach the user dashboard rather than staying on the sign-in page. If you already have an account, sign in with it. Plans, data, and subscriptions are tied to that account, so use the same one when switching computers or reinstalling the client to keep your orders easy to find.
Your dashboard and your client connection are separate things: opening the dashboard doesn't enable network acceleration on your device, and creating an account doesn't mean you have an active plan. The “Start Free” button on this page opens the account page. Plan prices are listed on the pricing page and in your dashboard order details. Once you can access the dashboard, continue by choosing a plan.
Choose a Plan and Confirm Your Order
Open the plans section in your dashboard and choose between a monthly subscription and a data package. Monthly subscriptions are suited to regular use, with data resetting monthly from the activation date. Data packages last until the data is used and never expire. Choose based on how often you use the service and how much data you need; you don't need a higher tier for more devices—Z3VPN supports unlimited simultaneous devices.
Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. Compare the data allowance and billing terms on the pricing page before choosing a plan in your dashboard. Don't mistake a data package's total price for a monthly price, or assume monthly subscription data carries over indefinitely.
On the order confirmation page, check the plan name, data allowance, billing terms, and amount due. Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT are supported; follow the instructions on the order page to pay. Once payment is complete, return to the dashboard and check the order result and plan status. If the external payment is complete but the dashboard hasn't updated, refresh the order status before trying to pay again.
Z3VPN offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund policy. See the Terms of Service for full details. If you upgrade a monthly subscription mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the amount shown in your dashboard before proceeding. Once your plan is active, you can get the subscription link for your client.
Get Your Subscription Link from the Dashboard
Open the account overview in your dashboard and check your plan and data status, then find the subscription section. If the page offers a “Copy subscription link” option or an import option for your client, choose the one that suits your device. The link is copied to your clipboard; you'll paste it into the client's subscription URL field, not a browser search bar.
A subscription link lets your client fetch server configurations. It isn't the name of a specific server or the URL of your account sign-in page. Copy the full link provided by the dashboard; avoid selecting it manually in a way that might miss the beginning or end. Don't edit its parameters or use example links from a guide as a working subscription.
Keep your subscription link private, just like your account credentials. Don't post it in public chats, forums, or screenshots. If you contact support, you can share the client name, system message, and import step—but never the full subscription URL. If you think the link has been exposed, check whether the dashboard offers a reset option. After resetting it, replace the old subscription on your frequently used devices.
If the account overview doesn't show an available subscription, first make sure you're signed in to the account used for the order, then check the order and plan status. Don't look for replacement links on other sites. Once you've copied the subscription successfully, leave the dashboard accessible and follow the instructions for your platform below to get and configure the client.
Import the Client on Each Platform
Open the relevant platform entry in the dashboard's client downloads section. Use the Z3VPN client or a subscription-based client with import instructions clearly provided in the dashboard. The Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients are available after sign-in, with no purchased plan required to download them. Sign in to get a subscription; available servers depend on your plan status. The iOS client entry also requires an active plan.
The general import process is: open subscription or configuration management, add a remote subscription, paste the full link, save, and update. If the dashboard offers one-click import, your browser may ask to open the client; confirm the target app to continue. After the handoff, return to the client and check that the configuration appears. A browser confirmation alone doesn't mean the import succeeded.
Windows: Import a Subscription and Set Up the System Proxy
Get the Z3VPN client for Windows from the dashboard, install it, and launch it by following the on-screen instructions. In subscription or configuration management, look for options such as “Import from link” or “Add subscription.” Paste the link copied from the account overview, give the configuration a recognizable name, then save and update. If you use the dashboard's client import button, make sure the client is installed and has been launched at least once.
After updating, you should see server groups or a list of regions. Select the newly imported configuration as the active one, then connect and enable the system proxy if the client offers that option. Don't run other proxy tools at the same time, as they may override each other's system proxy settings. Seeing a server list means the configuration was fetched; complete the final connection check to confirm it works.
macOS: Remote Subscriptions and Network Permissions
Choose the macOS entry in the dashboard, download the Z3VPN client, and open it as prompted by the system. In the client's configuration, subscription, or remote configuration manager, add the link, paste the subscription URL, save, and update. If your clipboard still contains an order URL, go back to the account overview and copy the subscription link again. Don't use a webpage URL instead.
Set the new configuration as the active one and connect. If macOS asks to add a network configuration or grant permission for a network feature, verify that the request comes from the client you just opened, then approve it as prompted. If you dismissed the permission request, try connecting again from the client; if needed, check network permissions in System Settings. Don't delete all your configurations just because you didn't complete the first permission prompt.
Android: Import a Link and Allow Background Activity
Sign in to the dashboard and download the Z3VPN client for Android from the downloads section. Follow your device's prompts to install and open it; don't download installers from reposted links or unknown sources. In the client, add a remote address in subscription management, paste the full subscription link, save, and update. Once the server list appears, select the active configuration and your target region.
The first time you connect, Android may show a VPN connection request. Check that it's the right app, then allow it. Open your destination website to test the connection. If the connection drops only when you switch apps or lock your screen, check your device's battery management and background activity settings, and allow the client the background access it needs. Settings vary by device; you don't need to disable battery management for every app to troubleshoot.
iOS: Active Plan and Configuration Permissions
Sign in to the dashboard with the same account and make sure your plan is active, then open the iOS entry in the client downloads section. Follow the dashboard instructions to get the client from the App Store. If the entry says an active plan is required, go back to the plans and orders section and check your status. Don't keep clicking the download link or use a substitute URL from another source.
Open the client and add your subscription link through the subscription, configuration, or import-from-URL option. If the dashboard offers app handoff for importing, open the target client when prompted by your device. Save the configuration, update the server list, and choose a region. When you connect, allow the system to add the VPN configuration and complete the authorization prompts. Once the VPN indicator appears, verify the result by visiting a website and checking your exit location.
Connect to a Server and Verify It Works
Return to the client and make sure the active configuration is the Z3VPN subscription you just updated. Choose a target region from the server list. If you're accessing a service with region-specific requirements, select a server accordingly rather than relying on its name alone. Connect, approve any required system permissions, and check that the client reports a connected status.
First, open a website you use regularly to confirm your basic connection is working, then visit the international site you need. Open our IP lookup page to check the exit information shown for your browser and compare it with the region you selected. A failed lookup alone doesn't prove the connection is down; check the client status and whether the sites you need load. With rule-based routing, different websites may also use different routes.
If the client says you're connected but the destination site won't load, update the subscription and try another server in the same region. Then check whether another proxy or VPN client is running. Change one setting at a time and test again after reconnecting so you can tell what helped. Streaming services and AI tools may also check account regions and platform rules, so a successful connection doesn't guarantee access to a particular platform.
Once you've confirmed everything works, keep the configuration for everyday use. To set up another device, get the client and import your subscription there; Z3VPN supports unlimited devices. Don't make your link public for convenience. If the server list disappears, the configuration is outdated, or your plan status changes, check the dashboard first, then update the client subscription.
If you still can't connect, note your operating system, the client's error message, selected region, and steps you've already tried, then report the issue through a dashboard support ticket. Before sharing screenshots, hide your subscription URL and sensitive account details.
